A Word for the Ladies

A Word for the Ladies

When I was in college, I was into Women's Studies and feminism. But when I got out into the real world, I lost that ideology. My values have changed as I have gotten older. I have learned what my identity is from the Bible instead.

I argue that our families are not just breaking down because of missing fathers, but because of missing mothers, as well. In today's world women want to have it all. And it is too much. We have feminists and girl bosses. Women who do not want to have babies. And we have a hook-up culture and abortion.

I will say that I am not married. I am not a mother. This is just my opinion.

Men and women should get married, and then have sex. Buy a home. Have children. I think women should stay home to raise their kids. I would also suggest that it is better to home school kids these days than public school. She takes care of her family. Again, just my opinion.

The most important relationship a woman should have is with God. She should marry a Christian man and raise Christian kids. We know God created Eve to be Adam's helpmeet. And the same is true for us today. God has a purpose for all of us and we should obey His will for our lives.

A career and money is not the most important thing. They cannot make anyone happy. Thus, building family and relationships is what matters. As a wife and mother, you can pour out your lives in service to others.

Titus 2:Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
