Affecting Rain
The climate grifters claim that the actions of people affect the environment. If you look at the Bible, It shows that people do affect nature. I am not saying that we are destroying the environment. I am not a believer in climate change. And I am not going into the geoengineering of the weather that does go on. However, there is a spiritual aspect to this.
I write this as it is raining outside. We need the rain in the natural, as well as in the spiritual. I think about the prayer Solomon prayed at the temple in 1 Kings 8. And I think about Elijah in 1 Kings 17 and 18. He had to pray for rain.
God has all power and control over creation. Genesis says that he has given man authority and dominion, as well. We can affect rain and rain can affect us.

- 1 Kings 8:36then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.
Romans 8:19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. Romans 8:22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Genesis 7:4Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”
Genesis 8:2Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.

Elijah Announces a Great Drought
Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.”
Elijah and Obadiah
After a long time, in the third year, the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.”
42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.

The Lord Will Care for Judah
Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.
Zechariah 14:17If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.
Zechariah 14:18If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.
Acts 14:17Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”
Hebrews 6:7Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.
James 5:17Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. James 5:18Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
Revelation 11:6They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
