Are you Ready?

Are you Ready?

As Christians, we are getting closer to a time where a massive amount of people will be saved. The question we need to ask ourselves is are we as the church ready for that harvest? Would we be able to minister to billions of people worldwide?

It starts with looking at ourselves. We need to ask Holy Spirit to help us identify areas in our lives that we need to work on and depend on Him to be able to change. We need to deal with sin. We should not be living like the world. We have to be salty and shine like a light, so the world knows that we are different.

Also, we have to spend time with God and study His Word. All the answers we need are in the Word. It is not enough to just hear sermons on Sunday. We have to walk the walk every day and have our own knowledge. We have to know who we are in Christ and what He has enabled us and empowered us with in order to serve Him and build His kingdom.

Ask God to help you prepare. He knows how He will use you. Start serving at your church now, and start using the gifts that God has given you. Ask God to deliver you from any demonic strongholds that may be holding you back.

Pray to have the heart for people that God has. Pray that God helps us to see others like He does. We need His compassion, love, kindess, mercy, and grace. We need to be able to encourage others. Practice sharing your testimony with other people. Pray for the sick.

We all look forward to the day when God's glory is on display in unprecedented ways on this earth. We are living in some dark times right now, and the world desperately needs God. My prayer is that all other countries worldwide will be open to the good news of Jesus Christ. The world is going to need missionaries. People will be healed and delivered, and signs will follow the preaching of the Word. People of all ages will prophesy. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord will fill the earth.

We will see society and culture change because of what God will do. And God wants to use us to spread the gospel, to serve, and to minister to others. We all have a role God designed for us in the church body. Get prepared! Now is the time to be ready.

I was reminded of when Joshua told Isreal to get prepared before they entered the Promised Land. Joshua 1:11 “Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Get your provisions ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.’”
