God knows you better than anyone else, including yourself. He loves unconditionally. He is always there and won't forsake you. We cannot ask for a better friend.
We can always pray to Him, and we know He hears us. Holy Spirit is in us, so we can feel His presence. We are never alone. God encourages us. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard a song, seen a movie, or read a scripture just when I needed it.
God wants a relationship with us. He wants to spend time with us and talk with us. We need to take the time. We need to commit to the relationship. We need to be his friend, too.
Exodus 33:11The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
