Do not be Deceived
Deception is a scary thing because you may not even know that you are deceived. The Bible says even the elect will be deceived. The devil is a liar. He wants to lead us astray and away from God.
It is so important that we know the Bible. The Bible says that we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. As Christians, we need to prioritize Bible study in our lives. And yet, so many people find it hard to read the Bible regularly. This is what the devil wants. He wants us to be too busy or too distracted to be in the Bible. We need to go to churches that preach the complete gospel. Also, we need to be led by Holy Spirit because He is truth.
We need to be sober-minded. I Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Always be vigilant. Being in the Bible, transforms our thinking. II Corinthians 2:11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. II Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Truth is not relative. We all do not have our own truth. The Bible is the Truth. And it never changes.
I pray that God removes any deception in your lives. I pray you can clearly know truth and take a stand against satan. I pray that you will have a fresh passion for God's Word. I pray you are sensitive to the leading of Holy Spirit. I pray you will walk in the freedom that comes from God's Word. You will be free from the devil. Amen.
