God Bless the USA

This year is the 250th birthday of the United States. I am looking forward to the celebration on July 4th. For one, it is historic. I want to listen to the patriotic songs. You know the songs ... There is supposed to be a huge event.

I truly believe that the USA is a light on the hill for the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. God has given this nation a purpose and destiny. The USA itself needs God, however, because our light has dimmed. We are truly blessed to be a blessing to the world, but unfortunately, we take it for granted. And much of the world seems to hate us these days. What a time we are living in. The light is needed more than ever.

It makes me sad that there is so much hate for our country, especially now. I wonder where else is better in the world that these haters want to live. They should just go there already. They do not appreciate how special and great our country is.

It does not help that we had a border invasion during the biden/autopen administration either. There are now terrorists in our country, and the Islamists want to take over. Other countries are stealing our money because there is so much fraud. Then, they vote in our elections and destroy our election integrity. Furthermore, it looks like the progressive left wants to destroy our country. Why do they prefer communism, marxism, and socialism? Where is the patriotism? They truly do not understand how precious our freedom is.

I realized that I wanted to go back and explore our founding documents and relearn our history. It seems that we are ignorant of our history these days, including myself. We certainly need to reestablish what the forefathers built our country on, especially our covenant with God. Politicians do not even know the constitution, bill of rights, or declaration of independence. They just push propaganda instead of caring about their voters. Our government is supposed to serve we the people.

There is a war going on right now, well, hopefully it has ended. God bless our military and their families. We have our freedom because of them. They deserve our eternal gratitude. And we should pray for them daily. God bless our military and our veterans!

I do not want to dwell on the dark times. I understand there is a spiritual battle where the devil wants to take the USA out. I for one want us all to take a stand and fight back. I want the church to do better and be better, so it can be salt and light to our own country and to the world. They cannot win. We were close to being destroyed in recent years, but God has shown us mercy and spared our nation. He saved our president from a bullet. He is faithful to our covenant, even when we are not. In God we trust.

Here to the United States and another 25o years! Let the flag wave and let freedom roar. One nation under God.
