Have you ever wondered how the disciples lacked faith when they got to be with Jesus all the time? They witnessed everything that Jesus did. And yet there were times they did not believe. Jesus told them that they lacked faith. Furthermore, they did not understand what Jesus told them about his death and resurrection.

I heard the George Michael song on the radio today "Got to Have Faith faith faith."

Hebrews 11:6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Romans 10:17Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

I think that there are circumstances in life that can make us afraid, worried, or discouraged. In those times, we need to sustain our faith by being in the Bible and spending time with God in prayer. We also need to act on and obey what we know God wants us to do.

 Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
