May 2, 2026--Is it answered prayer?

My plan for this blog is to do a daily devotional-type thing. I will do my best to post consistently. No promises, however. So let the journey begin ...

I have been going through a tough time. In retrospect, I realized that what happened could be an answer to my prayers. It may seem hard to understand because everything is not sunshine and roses. But God's ways and thoughts are higher. I guess you have to be careful with what you ask God to do. Things may not work out how we may want or like. I had prayed for God to help me do what He has called me to do. I asked for what is best and for His will. And then I lost my job. He certainly can shake things up. It all comes down to trust. Do I trust God, really? Do you, really?

I believe that everything happens for a reason. Life is not always easy, so we should seek God for His will and His ways, especially when nothing makes sense. I have to believe that God is working things out for my good, and for all of our good. That is what the Bible says. So with whatever circumstances that come, keep the faith, do not give up ever, and put your trust in God. Your life is safe in His hands, always.
