May 30 2026 Where God is
There is a passion shown for God's presence in Psalm 26: 8 Lord, I love the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells.
This house does not have to be a church building or any kind of brick and mortar structure. When we are saved, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us. We are the house. We can feel God's presence 24/7 wherever we are. We just need to take the time to spend with God.
Certainly, when believers meet together at church, they want to experience God and His glory, as well. If God is not present, why are we? We should desire meeting together with other believers to worship God.
It is such an amazing thing that we can love God and have a relationship with Him. We can know Him. He wants to spend time with us. And He is worthy of all our worship. We should have a passion to pursue God above all other things.
Just to be with Him. Just to step away from the busyness and the circumstances of life and be surrounded by His glory. Our hearts should long for that time. I love to worship. It is such a sacred, precious time.
