Out of control
Do you ever feel like everything is out of control? At times, I feel like I am done with this ride; can I get off now? I just want peace and quiet. I just want no drama, no chaos, no crisis, no bad circumstances. I just need to be still ... Longing for some goodness, too.
I am not a control freak. I just try to roll with it. Sometimes it is too much, so I need to quiet down the noise and distractions. I need to spend more time in God's presence focusing on Him and Him alone. I need to cast those cares and let go. There is so much that happens in life that is out of our control. We need to accept is and move on. Just pray, worship, read the Bible, and rest in God's presence and peace. Not only do we have peace in God, but we have the peace of God.
Exodus 14:14: "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Psalm 37:7: "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him
Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God;
I Samuel 12: 16 “Now then, stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes!
Mark 4:39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
Zechariah 2:13 Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”

Exodus 14:13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Psalm 116:7 Return to your rest, my soul,
for the Lord has been good to you.
