What is in your head?
So much of my life I just felt like I was stuck in my own head–driven by my thoughts and feelings. I have learned not to just go by my feelings. Feelings are a fickle fiend. What I had to learn was to control my thoughts. I had to learn that there is a spiritual war and the devil plants and manipulates my thoughts and emotions.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
If we follow the above verse, then, we are setting boundaries over our mind. We can stay more positive instead of getting depressed or anxious. We will be more grateful instead of complaining. It will affect our perspective and choices. Furthermore, studying the Word of God will shape our thought life.

Humble Service in the Body of Christ
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

Following Paul’s Example
All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.
Colossians 3:2 – “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
The Day of the Lord
Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.
