What is it like in the belly of a fish?

Super gross I would think. I googled to get some info about a whale's stomach. I learned that the whale would swallow without chewing. So when Jonah was eaten by the big fish, he was not chewed up but swallowed whole. A whale has 3 components of their stomach that has different levels of digestion. So was Jonah in all three of the different components or was he safer in one in particular? Other things Jonah would encounter were bits of fish and stomach acid.

The Bible says that God sent a storm, which led to Jonah being thrown overboard. Then, the Lord provided a big fish to swallow Jonah. God's hand was on all of this. And He kept Jonah safe throughout the whole experience.

We need to make sure that we do not run so far away of God, that it takes something this extreme to get our attention and turn us back to God. I for one do not want to end up in a fish's stomach.
